A Message from the MDHOA Board
RE: REVISED PROTECTIVE COVENANTS
Dear MacGregor Downs Homeowners:
Your HOA Board is pleased to have completed the proposed revisions to the MacGregor Downs Protective Covenants. We have done extensive research, worked closely with attorneys, as well as received valuable feedback thru multiple discussions with residents of MacGregor Downs. The HOA Board and Covenants Subcommittee worked to remove dated language while incorporating new content to address neighborhood issues. Hopefully, you will agree, our efforts to deliver an “updated” modern version while retaining the character of MacGregor Downs, has been achieved.
You may review the Revised Protective Covenants in their entirety by going on-line to www.macgregordowns.com. All changes are shown in red. If you do not have access to the Internet, hard copies will be available at the MDCC reception desk.
Please call your attention to the following sections where significant changes have been made:
Section 4 –Updates procedures for exterior alterations and renovations.
Section 7 – Updates home based enterprises.
Section 11 – Revises the disposition of vehicles on improved lots.
Section 18 –Details the actions and remedies by the HOA Board for violations.
Your collective response is critical to the overall integrity of the revised documents. Please complete and return your proxy form to the HOA via the enclosed self-addressed envelope. When approved by a majority of the MacGregor Downs Homeowners, the covenants will be executed and recorded with the Wake County Register of Deeds.
